Writing work!!

 Hi guys,

Today I will be sharing my writing work, although I cant say I did it myself. 2 other amazing people helped me do this writing peice and they are Daisy and Abigail. Anyway here is the procedure we went though,

1. We chose an image from 6 images. The image we chose was an image that was a cave. Why I chose this was because  I could see my monster in it.

2. I did a plan using my 5 senses interdependently.

3. Then I chose Daisy and Abigail to work on another plan but the same picture because we chose the same picture.

4. We wrote out 5 paragraphs for each of our senses.

5. We introduced our monsters in our story.

6. Then we all made a doc for ourselves and make up problems and solutions.

7. After that we linked it in a slide and now its kind of like a pick-a-path story.

After all of that we had finished! Here is our writing work!

I hope you guys enjoyed or story! Please comment if you like it or not and maybe give me some feedback! See you in my next blog post! BYEEEEE

Maths poster

Hi guys!
So today I am going to show you a poster which is explaining what GCF and LCM is and how to figure it out. GCF is the greatest factor than can be dived evenly into 2 or 3 numbers. On the other hand the LCM is the lowest common multiply from the 2 or 3 numbers. Here is my poster and I hope it helps!

 Hello, amazing people!!

In this blog post, I will be showing you my reading work! The book I did was a book called Tautorus bird snare. So what we had to do was to identify the moral of the story and create an animation to teach the moral to the junior students. Here is my animation! 😁

WALT: use prior knowledge and context to predict what will happen next.

Paper Helicopter Experiment

 Hi guys!

So today I am sharing with you my Paper Helicopter Experiment slide. The experiment is about dropping a helicopter from 2 meters, but before that you make a prediction if it'll go faster or slower. So anyway here it is!

Reading T3W4

 Hi guys,

Today I am showing you my create  task about a book called 'My Dad The Soccer Star' Also here is out WALT for this week.

WALT: use prior knowledge and context to predict what will happen next.

Here is my summary of the book: It's about this girl who signed her dad up for soccer but he didn't want to. Later they went to the shop to buy some things for her dad's soccer practice. Then when they went to the practice the dad was not good at the game and he didn't get any better. But at the prize-giving thing, he got a prize for having the tidiest uniform of the year. In the middle of the story we had to predict what happens next and here is my DLO  (digital learning object) about what I predict happens next!

Thanks for looking at my blog post and I hope to see you in my next one!

Slirack

WALT - We are learning to introduce the characters into a narrative

Hi guys,
This term we had to make a monster of our own but with 4 animals. My 4 animals were a giraffe, lion, snake and a duck. We got this idea from a book called 'Where the wild things are'. My monsters name is Slirack.
Snake
Lion
Giraffe
Duck
In this blog post i am showing you my plan on how Slirack looks, the description of him and my drawing. Here they are:

Name: Slirack

Slirack is a kind and caring animal. It is protective over its habitat. Slirack lives on a small island called Rabbit Island in japan.

The Slirack is a mix of a duck, lion, giraffe and snake. Only some people have seen Slirack before. Slirack is sometimes scary over its food. You might wonder how or why. It is because Slirack has a duck head and it's predators think it's weak, but Slirack roars at it's predators or at any animal that tries to eat it's food, and they all get scared and run away, but the food just dies from shock.

Slirack eats rabbits, grass, seeds and eggs. Slirack lives underground where no one can find it. Slirack was created by a crazy scientist. The scientist thought if he created Slirack then he could dominate the world. He wanted to do this because he had a tough childhood and thought he could take away everyone's happiness just like how the world did to him. The kind animal Slirack was he didn't do that, instead he escaped, ate the scientist and went to live on Rabbit Island.

If you get to know Slirack then he won't seem like a monster but when people just say that he's a monster, he acts like one.

That is my drawing of Slirack!

I hope you guys enjoyed my post and leave comments.
I see you next time,
Bye!

Comic!!

Hey guys,
So today i am showing you my comic about this book called Nanas story! This book is a young girls diary, in this diary it shows her love with her Nana, and her sadness when her Nana passes away. She writes what and how she feels when her Nana dies. So our create task was to predict what happens next. In this story our last sentence was this, 'Dont worry, kōtiro, (girl) kaua e tangi (dont cry) - my legs don't hurt any more.' So this is what i thought happens next!

Geometry

Hi guys!
So today i am showing you my geometry slide. In my slide it will show how much faces edges and vertices a 3D shape has and how much corners and sides a 2D shape has. We also had to choose 3 shapes for each. So 3 3D shapes and 3 2D shapes. So here it is
